Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Pics Cloud.

What is Pics Cloud?

Pics Cloud is a platform that allows photographers, businesses, and developers to store, organize, and share photos. It provides tools for creating galleries and collections, and offers API endpoints for integrating photos into websites and applications.

How does the organization structure work?

Cloud Photos uses a hierarchical organization structure. At the top level, you have stores, which can contain multiple galleries. Each gallery can contain multiple collections, which represent photoshoots or events. Collections contain the actual photos. This structure allows for flexible organization of your photos.

What file formats are supported?

Cloud Photos supports all common image formats, including JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and RAW files from most camera manufacturers. We automatically generate optimized versions of your photos for web display while preserving the original files.

How secure are my photos?

Your photos are stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. You can also control access to your photos with password protection and expiration dates for shared links.

Is there a limit to the number of photos I can upload?

There is no limit to the number of photos you can upload.

What are the storage limits?

Currently, there are no storage limits in place. We're still testing different plan options and determining whether storage limits will be set at 10 GB, 30 GB, or another amount.
